Directions to the Mathematics Department
The Department of Mathematics is located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of the Science Buildings B & E on the Toyonaka Campus. The Mathematics Library is located on the 5th floor of the Science Building E.
The name of Shibahara Station (Monorail) was changed to "Shibahara-handai-mae" Station as of October 1, 2019.
The name of Ishibashi Station (Hankyu) was changed to "Ishibashi handai-mae" Station as of October 1, 2019.
How to get to the Department
From Itami Airport
The local airport is Itami Airport (Osaka Airport, ITM) about
ten kilometers north of central Osaka.
From Itami Airport, you can either take the monorail or a taxi.
- Monorail: Take the monorail and get off at Shibahara-handai-mae Station.
The station is just two stations away from the airport.

The Department is very close to Shibahara-handai-mae Station. It is located on the same side of the street as Shibahara-handai-mae Station. - Taxi: The 5-10 minutes drive from Itami Airport to the Toyonaka Campus Mathematics Department can cost about one thousand yen.
From Kansai International Airport
Kansai International Airport (KIX) is an airport located on an artificial island about 40
kilometers south of central Osaka. Terminal 1, the main terminal, is housed in a long, modern
building and serves both domestic and international flights by regular airlines.
- Airport Limousine Bus: At the Bus Stop No. 7C outside the first floor of the Terminal 1
Building, take an Airport Limousine Bus to Itami Airport.
