My research focuses on numerical analysis of differential equations within the broader field of applied mathematics. For example, in problems that involve extremely large-scale computations, the demand in modern science and engineering is growing faster than the capabilities of modern hardware. This gap highlights the need for mathematical approaches, and I address this challenge by developing methods that exploit the geometric structure of differential equations and by incorporating neural networks into numerical algorithms. More recently, I have also been integrating probabilistic and statistical perspectives into numerical analysis, aiming to contribute to mathematical modelling and its applications to real-world problems.
